THE ARC DE TRIOMF
The Arc de Triomf was the entrance to the 1888 Universal Exposition. It is a unique and beautiful Barcelona landmark built of red bricks in the Moorish or Mudéjar style. It honors the artistic, scientific, and economic progress of the Catalan people.
SAGRADA FAMILIA
The Sagrada Familia is the most famous Barcelona landmark and the jewel of Catalan Modernism. Designed by Antoni Gaudi, this awe-inspiring church is rich in symbolism and it's not yet finished! PARC DE LA CIUTADELLA
Walk down from the Arc de Triomf under giant palm trees, and you will find yourself in Parc de la Ciutadella. This is the biggest park in Barcelona and was the site of the 1888 Universal Exposition. Inside the park, you will find some museums, the Catalan Parliament, and a zoo. Take a relaxing walk by its famous fountain and waterfall and admire the greenery around you.
BARCELONETA BEACH
A trip to Barcelona isn't complete without a visit to the beach. Barceloneta Beach is one of Barcelona's oldest beaches. It used to be a fisherman's village on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Today, it is home to interesting sculptures, restaurants, bars, and even one of the best hotels in Europe. Of course, it's still a beach where you can indulge in different water activities.
